David Pascoe is a marine surveyor with a forty-year background in both pleasure craft, commercial marine (shipping) and marine insurance. He is also an author and publisher of four books; Mid Size Power Boats, Buyer’s Guide to Outboard Boats, Surveying Fiberglass Power Boats and Marine Investigations, as well as publisher of yachtsurvey.com. The purpose of this web site is to offer my readers deeper insight into the basics of boat ownership, the boating industry, and the general state of the economy which may or may not support boating, as well as the political machinations of government as they may bear on the not-so-simple pleasures of boating.
